Ankur Pathshala — Child Safety Standards

This page describes Ankur Pathshala's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Zero tolerance

Ankur Pathshala has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, and any content that endangers children.

Prohibited content

Users may not upload, share, request, promote, or distribute:

  • Sexual content involving anyone under 18
  • Nudity or sexual activity involving minors
  • Grooming, coercion, exploitation, or trafficking of minors
  • Any CSAM or content that sexualizes children
  • Content that facilitates harm to minors in any form

Prevention and moderation

Ankur Pathshala uses multiple layers to protect users:

  • Automated screening: Uploaded images are screened using NSFW / Safe Search technology before or during publishing.
  • Human review: Reported and flagged content, including videos, is reviewed by administrators.
  • Account enforcement: Violations may result in content removal, temporary restrictions, or permanent account suspension.
  • Community standards: All users must follow our community guidelines. Serious safety violations are prioritized.

In-app reporting

Users can report child safety concerns inside the Ankur Pathshala app:

  • Feed posts:Tap Report → choose "Problem involving someone under 18" (options include physical abuse, sexual exploitation, nudity or sexual activity, and more).
  • Help & Support:Settings → Help & support → "Report and block"
  • Block: Users can block others from profiles or chats to stop unwanted contact.

What we do when we learn of violations

When Ankur Pathshala obtains actual knowledge of CSAE, CSAM, or related violations, we:

  1. Remove the violating content as quickly as possible
  2. Restrict or permanently suspend the responsible account(s)
  3. Preserve records as required by applicable law
  4. Report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority, including where applicable:
    • NCMEC CyberTipline (US): https://report.cybertip.org/
    • Bangladesh Police Cyber Crime or other relevant regional law enforcement, as required by local law
